Terms of Use & Performance

Overview

Rockwall Talent Live! (the “Event”) is a local talent competition open to individuals and groups performing a variety of acts including singing, dancing, music, comedy, and other live performances.

By accessing this website and/or submitting an entry (an “Entry”), you (“Participant” or “Act”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use and Submission Agreement (the “Terms”).

If you do not agree, do not submit an Entry or participate.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate:

Participants must reside in or have a meaningful connection to Rockwall County, Texas.

Participants under 18 must have parent or legal guardian consent.

A parent or guardian must submit entries on behalf of minors.

Participants must provide accurate and truthful information.

We reserve the right to verify eligibility at any time.

Entry & Submission Guidelines

General:
Each Act may submit one (1) entry per category.

Entries must be submitted through the official website.

Submission deadlines will be posted and enforced.

Video (if required):

2–3 minutes maximum

Optional short introduction (name, age, type of act)

Performance Standards & Content Rules

Rockwall Talent Live! is a family-friendly, community-focused event.

The following content is strictly prohibited:

Hate speech or discrimination of any kind
(including but not limited to religion, race, ethnicity, gender, or any people group)

Harassment, threats, or abusive content

Sexual, obscene, or explicit material

Violent or dangerous acts

Illegal activity

Profanity or offensive language

Any content deemed inappropriate for a general audience

Important:
Any act that demeans, attacks, or persecutes any group of people will be immediately disqualified and removed.

We reserve full discretion to determine what is appropriate.

Selection & Participation

Submission does not guarantee selection

Judges and organizers have sole discretion in:

Selecting participants

Advancing acts

Determining winners

We may limit the number of participants per category

Code of Conduct

Participants agree to:

Act respectfully toward judges, staff, and other participants

Follow all event rules and instructions

Conduct themselves in a professional and sportsmanlike manner

Failure to comply may result in disqualification at any time.

Media & Promotion Release

By submitting an Entry, you grant Rockwall Talent Live! the right to:

Use your name, image, likeness, and performance

Share photos or videos from the event

Promote the event through:

Website

Social media

Marketing materials

This may include posting winning performances or highlights online.

No compensation will be provided for such use.

Ownership of Content

Participants retain ownership of their performance

You confirm that:

Your act is original or you have permission to perform it

You have rights to any music or materials used

You agree not to submit content that infringes on copyrights or trademarks.

Liability Waiver

By participating, you agree:

Participation is at your own risk

Event organizers are not responsible for:

Injuries

Loss of property

Damages of any kind

You release Rockwall Talent Live!, its organizers, partners, and volunteers from any claims arising from participation.

Right to Disqualify

We reserve the right to:

Reject or remove any Entry

Disqualify any participant

Modify or cancel the event

At any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Accuracy of Information

All submitted information must be truthful.

Providing false or misleading information may result in removal from the competition.
